First I thought this was just going to be a very eye opening thread on oil changing etiquette but it is really turning into something much more informative. Until today I wasn't sure what those flat things by shifter were for, I never realized I was supposed to pick my feet up! Is this something you do for an extended period of time, say 10 seconds or maybe even more? It seems so scary to me! Really all I got my bike for was to wash it in the driveway at least twice a week while listening to a Motley Crew/Poison mix tape I made back in 85. I will occasionally go out and rev the engine really loud in the garage but it always seems to make me so dizzy after awhile with the doors closed. I think I might be doing it wrong.
Doing it wrong? No I think you're fine, it's what I do anyway! All my mix tapes melted in my right side saddlebag when I let the engine run to get the pipes to glow! I'm thinking about adding the Harley Boom box for like $1200, seems like I could use some updated tunes in my driveway anyway!
Luckily I have a riding mower so all my riding gear gets used regularly, well almost all, I never wear my full face helmet on the mower, seems like overkill, I just wear the skull cap.
I can't believe all of you actually change oil in your drive way---------------mine gets done in a hermetically sealed environment .You never can be to careful
Hey not ALL of us have a hermaphroditically sealed envelope or whatever it is you just said, so we're just lucky to have the opportunity to put our driveways to good use! :P

HOLY ****! That's a great idear, I can't wait to mow my lawn again! Now I gotta figure out which doo rag is the best and needs more time in the wind or more accurately, breeze.
