My Friend Flicka....Micky Mouse Club.....Have Gun-Will Travel.....Gun Smoke...Wagon Train....Rin Tin Tin...Lassie were all the shows we grew up with too. They've been replaced with delightful shows like Lizard Lick.....South Beach Towing... Kardashians Hard Core Pawn. Guess thats why I don't care to watch much TV.

Vic Morrow's Thompson SMG was a wooden replica because he complained about the weight. Having had two in our armory when I first got onn the job in 75, I can say they were heavy. The prop people switched it out for a real one when firing was required. All the other firearms were real including Kirby's BAR.

I remember when our family got its first color TV set, and I would look in amazement when the NBC peacock spread its tail at the beginning of a show. Such technology!
