I think the clothing is actually nice quality...even though it isn't made in the U.S.A. Which pisses me off.
Most all the T shirts are made in the USA these days, an HD belt I bought recently is also. Some jackets are. My HD hairbands are too. Like at any other store it is up to us, the consumer, to check the labels and buy accordingly.
my criticism was of the "package" marketing by HD. If you look at what I said I thought it was clear what a person wears or doesn't wear has nothing to do with the ride. Sorry for my poor communication skills. Full face helmet, backpack, type of shoes doesn't mean *hit. I still do think the prices are a ripoff.

You call them Moronclothes...seems like that means you think people who wear them are morons. I think that is why you received the responses you did. Not sure what that has to do with a package.
I like the Harley T shirts. I rarely find USA made T shirts, but half of mine are. I wear the Harley Lynx boots which are great waterproof, zippered boots, with a subtle Harley logo.
Some of the HD jackets are a bit gaudy, but some look great.
I prefer my leather jacket that was made by a solo seamstress. She passed away, so I would probably buy a Schott, or Hillside or Fox Creek when I want another jacket.
I ride a Harley, got a few jackets and "T"s too. Got my old service uniform too. I fly an American flag in front of my house and believe in GOD and guns. I must be a real poser in your eyes. *******.
Maybe I should get rid of all my harley ****. I should wear American eagle instead since I can't afford a $20,000 harley that half of it was made in Japan. Maybe since I refuse to get an EVO and want an old school shovelhead stripped down to the nuts n bolts and chopped frame with a king sportster tank. Maybe I should quit wanting a harley because I I live in America and the only way to make it here the government wants you to be brown.

Hmmm.... Do you really not know who people are referring to when they say that they believe in God? Or, are you attempting to criticize an individual's religious belief on a motorcycle forum? If so, you are one classy individual...
Wear what you want, but it is sorta humorous to see guys with their shiny new bikes with 600 miles after two years, wearing every bit of motor company clothing down to their boxers. Add in a pirate headscarf and you have got a social phenomena. These guys are usually strutting their stuff at the dealer events and show n shines.
Its sort of like the wearing of branded sports team gear, except at least MOST of these people own an HD. And before you say it, I can afford both the bike and the gear, choose not to do any more unpaid adverstising for any company that I can.
