I'll nevery forget when I was learning to ride....I had a friend go out with me who has been riding like 50 years....it was also my first real ride on the open road and also my first ride with my dad ....we were cruising on a highway near my house at about 50.....I gotta admit , I was a little scared....never been that fast before and I was just nervous with everyday traffic......
Anyway in the distance , on the other side of the highway I saw a guy approaching on a bike....as he got closer, I thought maybe this guy came through some sort of time portal....he had an old school looking chopper....raked out....leather jacket.....really looooooong zz top type beard blowing behind him....he was straight out of the 70's.....he motioned to me and waved at all of us....I felt like I was on top of the world....it was my first official wave.....I always try and wave to others because I know it might be their first wave....
I'm not as cool looking as that guy was but maybe one day I will be....ryan
