I prefer darker, sweeter ales, porters, barleywines, and stouts to lagers. Nothing to hoppy... with spicy top notes, and lots of esters. Fruit ales are particularly favored... Sam'l Smith makes the best of those!

I was thinkin about that recycled Basturd Beer stuff you was guzzling the other night! Is that the spicy top, multiple ester, fruity porter ale ur speakin of???

I ain't Lord Voldemort, dude! He's left the premises...

No, although the Stone DOUBLE BASTARD ALE is quite SPICY, it has no top esters and no fruit - and is quite strong, with a relatively high specific gravity and ABV.

See my Beer Thread for the technical details... although I don't know if I wrote tasting notes for that one in there. I will remedy this oversight this evening... I believe I have a bottle or three in the beer fridge!

Wouldn't want you to get a Belgian Wheat confused with a Doppelbock or Porter... Heaven FORBID a Fruit Ale! I ain't goin' TOO FAST fer ya here, am I???

LMAOOOOOO! YOUR FRIGGEN CRAZY!!!!!!!
