Weekends in the summer...

Weekends in the summer...
Spent last one in Hiawassee, GA with rides to Clayton, GA, Highlands, Franklin, Murphy, Robbinsville, NC and lots of parts in between. Cabin in Hiawassee was a perfect home base. Weather was outstanding, cool in the mornings, 80ish in the afternoons. Just what early Summer in the mountains is for.
Only down side is the weekend has to end.
Anyone have any good rides/trips planned coming up soon?
I'd actually like to work in a beach one too, maybe toward end of summer.

Well, we won't be ridin' the bike this weekend.....
but will be "comfortably numb," layin' by a pool at a resort in Cabo San Lucas for 4 or 5 days.
Would like to do Biketoberfest this year though. (Haven't been yet.)
Guess I can't have it all...

Beavthanks again for watching the doggies and the pool last weekend; y'all are the best! hey, i'm training darby not to bark for treats... can't report on any progress yet, but she has had her normal quota today already...lol

That Darby has the "quite persistant" treat requirement down pat. Told Dave that I believe she thinks that meerly breathin' is deservin' of a doggie treat!

I would suggest a group ROAD TRIP down there... maybe for Fantasy Fest in Oct. with every freak on the East Coast. Key West is on my Bucket List... never been there!
But that is one long-azz, flat, BORING ride, Jeremey... and in JULY? You're tougher than I am, bro! Enjoy!
