I'm from Indy and my wife wants to tour some plantations in Georgia late April. I've found about 5 of them to visit. We will zig-zag down through Georgia and end up in Jax Beach, FL. I'd like to know what plantations are the best ones to visit and find out some nice roads to ride along the way from one plantation to the next. Can anyone give me some advice or other suggestions?
Stop in Helen then on to:
Callaway Plantation, Washington
Jarrell Plantation, Juliett
Stately Oaks Plantation, Jonesboro
Also visit Savannah
Few days in Jax Beach then on to:
Pebble Hill Plantation, Thomasville

Stately Oaks isnt worth visiting anymore, I grew up in Jonesboro. Wear Kevlar if you do go!
Pebble Hill is the best in my opinion. Savannah is also pretty nice in terms of the older style areas. Why go to Jax Beach? You can go to Fernandina or somewhere north and pay a lot less for the same beach.

We plan to ride through Fernandina on the way to Jax Beach. Wife has two sisters that live in Jax Beach and we need to visit a couple days.
