That happens some but it's pretty rare and hard to ignore for any distance with DOT scales and mobile DOT cops with jump scales.
It's certainly not worth risking a ticket that can be thousands of dollars,either way trucking pays far and away the lion's share of road use taxes.
Yeah I'm a driver and live in a Northern state.

Been a while for tar snakes and me, but they have a serious love affair with chip seal these parts.

If i get back to Arizona next week i'll show you guys a real tar snake lair on I-40 closer to NM border both directions between MM350 and MM320. Speed limit is 75 BTW, so kinda fun to ride at 80+.
