We can only hope he keeps his word...Sen Grahm(Mr. Public Safety)got busted on a DWI and the following investigation was botched so bad he only got a slap on the wrist. But, the media picked it up and so did his opponent in the last election. He lost by a very wide margin. Most motorcylce rights groups really worked their asses off getting the info out about him and helping his opponent(who I believe voted for the bill)..

If you don't want to wear a helmet, then don't. However, don't ask the tax payers to pay your hospital bill when you crash from an idiot in a car pulling out in front of you.

Our helmet law is a bit of a joke anyway. You can only be ticketed once per day and it is a non-moving violation with a fine of $25.

So if your just passing through and you don't want to put on a lid it's up to you. Really the worst part is having them pull you over.

Did you think of this yourself or did you hear it from someone, never gave it any thought and just thought it would sound responsible to repeat?

First off, in Missouri it is mandatory to have liability insurance. So, that car that pulls out in front of you will have to pay your bills.

Or look at it this way, quadraplegics cost way more money to take care of than dead people that didn't wear a helmet.

Let's outlaw bikes altogether. Save some real money.

Don't ask the tax payer to pay for your heart attack next time you eat red meat. Ban cows.

Quit deducting your kids from taxes. You had them. I don't want to pay for them. No more public schools either.

No national parks.

No roads to places "you" don't want to drive to.

Or you can learn this saying, "You can't just pave the road in front of your house.". I'll explain it to you if you don't get it.

Btw people, this bill was not meant to repeal the helmet law. I don't know the exact wording and can't post a link from my phone, but the original bill pertains to insurance companies not being able to place blame on the motorcyclist when involved in an accident, strictly because he/sge is on a motorcycle.

It seems motorcycles automatically got a % of blame just for being there.

The Gov will not veto that. Fortunately the helmet portion got attached. Like the bridge to no where.

The bill landed on his desk on the 14th and he says he has no position on the helmet portion.

***** vetoed it. Word I got is, if it is repealed the AMA and Abate won't spend the money on the politicians trying to get it repealed. I'm pissed.
