You did what???????????
Let’s hear your most painful damaged bike story. Have you ever had a bike stolen, crashed, borrowed, run over etc. If so lets hear the story and even see pictures if you got em. To sweeten the pot, on June 5th, 2009 I am going to pick the best story and/or photo and give away a free Rack with Big Horn kit (see photo below) for storing your detachable accessories. I may not be able to help you with your damaged ride, but I can help you protect a few of your accessories.

Ok, when I was 10, I started out on a Honda trail 90, that my dad traded for. We have a farm in WV with rolling hills. Well, when I first started riding on it, I thought it would be cool to make a trail under my tree house (on a hillside tree). So, after making a trail under and up to my tree house I thought I was cool. Later that week, I was up in the tree house and I had rigged a rope and snatchblock to 'pull' up my supplies to my trap door in the tree house. Well, at some point I forgot to secure the rope and pulley in the tree house when I left for the day. The next day I was riding 'all get out' up to my 'hide-a-way' tree house. There I was riding full throttle (not much on a Honda trail 90) and looking over my shoulder, checking to make sure I had 'lost' the guys on my tail. When I turned my head back to look at the hillside trail ahead, I began to focus on a fast approaching dangling snatchblock-hanging from a rope. Too late to think, I ran full bore into the hook of the snatchblock. I rode it out about 10' then the front end of the bike violently bucked like a wild horse, straight up in the air. I let go and was thrown over the hill and tumbled to the bottom. I got up with 'dirt rash' , bloody nose and bruises on my legs and went to see the bike. There it was, dangling over the edge of the hill with the hook squarely on the bent handlebars, rocking gently. The front end never hit the ground. LOL
Other than my pride, no serious damage to me, other than when I told my dad why the handlebars were bent. He mostly just bitched, but I learned to never take my eyes off the trail.
