I'm generally hesitant to buy a product from a company that gives it a name that's easily confused with an established product. It makes it harder for me to trust them.

Yeah, it is pretty low to bite the name but it happens all the time. Kinda like this website using HD in their name. There's a thin line when dealing with intellectual property laws and confusing us pea brained consumers, but that's another story. My thought here is that saving $300 on a $500 part might be worth looking into for some.

Pretty sure this is the one a friend of mine tried. You're right, it is low. Worked great, right up til it got ripped off going over a rail road crossing.

Yeah looked like the bolt hangs down, like others have said, when I saw the price for $300 les and a American made product I thought I would give it a look.. $400+ is a lot of coin, but my bagger wobble blows.. Bet I could have one of my machine shop buddies "adjust" it to make it fit up higher.

Anyone here have this installed? The CE website states the following. "This kit doesn't hang below the frame keeping all of the ground clearance." It would be nice to see it bolted up.

There is no substitute for the real deal. I'd rather pay the extra money to the company that did R&D and designed it the way they did for the specific reason instead of a knock off that just copied them. Just sayin'......

I installed the Progressive Suspension Tour Link...cost about $155 with shipping from Amazon, and didn't reduce clearance a bit due to its design. Why would you want to install something that hangs below the frame?

Sorry, this is a little off topic, but I had a friend who made millions with his
condo/resort business. He reversed the RCI name to CRI, and took a lot of their business.
He got sued over the name, Condominium Resorts International, and the courts forced him to change it, his answer was to rename the company to "Club Resorts Intervals", still keeping the short name of CRI. Not saying this was a right thing to do, but it made him rich! Sadly he died in prison a few years ago...RIP Mikey, CRI still lives!

I don't have a problem with new companies that have a variation of the same idea or even no variation of the same idea if the original manufacturer is overcharging.

I do however find more often than not they're some fly-by-night crap outfit when they so obviously try to ride on the name recognition coat-tails of someone else.
