Along with the tour-pak quick disconnect I changed the amber turns to red running/brake/turns. Have all the wires coiled up under the seat for now. My plan over this coming winter is to cut back all the wires and put in disconnects so I can leave the wires attached to the TP...would also like to find a stock RK seat for when the TP is off to clean up the look.
This looks great, and I want to do it to my bike as well. Question: what happens to that big clump of wires that lies just below the tour pak, the wires between the tour pak and the seat? Thanks!
Padre...There's a cavity in the seat where the backrest adjustment would go, so I coiled up the wires and the fit nicely in that cavity. Over the winter I plan on adding wiring disconnects so when I take off the TP the wires go with it and I don't have to worry about coiling up the wires. This will also help when I go with a RK seat since I'm not sure the seat will have the same cavity in it as my touring seat.
