That fitting should be available in the Edelman line at any well equipped mom and pop auto parts store
I highly doubt it. Look at my parts list a few posts above. This barb is MADE to use that specific HOSE to be clamp free. Any other barb/hose connection will not work. BTW I chose to route my hoses to atmosphere.
I am going to do the breather mod this weekend to my Ventilator. I am using brass push-on hose barbed fittings that I ordered from McMaster-Carr part # 91465K11 and push on hose # 5283K31. With this setup you do not need hose clamps. But you have to use that fitting and hose combination. We use these in the plastic injection mold industry all the time on our molds. The hose does NOT come off, in fact you have to cut them off for removal.
Can you please let us know what size drill bit and what size tap you use?
25/64" drill
M10x1.25 Tap?
Also to DK, if you buy a few back plates, for me the new CVO backplate, and drill it for me..I would be game...
Thanks!!

I repeat. Edelman. Any mom and pop. Maybe NAPA. There is a reason I am making that statement. I'm not just pulling it outta my *** for the hell of it.
But go ahead and doubt
Well why don't you pull the part number out of your *** then and show everybody? Then we can compare the barbs side by side and see IF it's the same barb. Until you do, you ARE talking out your ***.

And just to make sure we are comparing apples to apples, here is the McMaster Carr link that clearly states
"You don't need a clamp or ferrule to attach these fittings to hosepush them in until the ring covers the hose end." "Note: These fittings are only for use with hose for push-on fittings"
so when you try and pass off another type of hose barb out of ignorance,
this information will set the parameters of what works and what will not work with clamps
Because I don't give a ruby red rip if you or anybody else believes me, and why should I do any research on it? I've given whoever asked about it enough information to find out for themselves. And I did this because I know the Edelman line. I don't know if McMaster Carr sells that line. I suspect they don't.
If you don't know what I know, and if you're not willing or able to research that line, don't get clever.
