Dealer destination is charged to the dealer who passes it on to the buyer, this also happens with car dealers. I was also told they weren't allowed to give helmets free. I did get 4000 off the msrp on a 2014 ultra classic so I didn't feel bad about the other charges they also offered 15% all accessories the first week
The dealer will write the invoice to waive this or that, but in the end its the bottom line and usually the dealer wins.Thats why Sales and Finance Mgrs. make money they do.
I refuse to pay dealer prep period! The freight should be about 400-450, I really don't even like paying that but I refuse to pay the dealer prep. If they don't wave it another dealer will.
