I liked them on my Ultra. I had very good vision. Then, I changed the inner fairing to Black Cherry (to match my bike), and I didn't want to have the flat black mirrors on it. I went back to the stems. We went to a rally, and had the T-Bag Decker on the tour-pac luggage rack. I had difficulty seeing behind me with the stems... never had that trouble with the fairing mount. Then I went to the touring bars, and that moved the mirrors back out where I could see again.

Buddy of mine who had his inner fairing painted silver had the mirror bodies painted to match - Nice!

My inner came from MOCO. The cost of the paint for just the mirror bodies is a little prohibitive. I don't know how they would work, now that I have the touring bars on there as well.
I like the look but they took some time adjusting and getting use to. I'm only 5'8" and at first thought I was going to replace them but I finally got them set right.
If your going to buy a set a fairing mount mirrors, make sure the part number ends with a letter B. They had problems with the first generation that ended with the letter A and changed the way they mounted. Had the A and had to buy the B to cut down on the vibration. Love them. one of the best mods I have done!
I love thew but after installing flanders pullback bars I lot some rear view, But I noticed that kyrakn has got a new mirrior that will move it out about 2 inches and regain my review
