I have a friends 09 RK here that I'm storing for him and I start it up once in awhile. If the security fob is not close enough it will start and idle but when you try to rev it up it will only go up to about 1500 RPMs. Get the fob near and restart and its fine. You might check that your fob batteries are good.

You just spent a lot of money, call your dealer and make them come pick it up.

I have an 09 street glide and mine went to idle while riding at 60 mph.
I was able to play with the throtle body wires and limped it back to the local HD garage.
They found a 6-way Socket and terminal that was bad in the ETC (electronic Throtle control) causing it to go in to Limp mode.
That may be your problem but I don't know for sure - Just what happened to me.
Good luck

2015 CVO? Yeah, I call the dealer and tell them to come pick it up.

Pull apart the connection behind the air cleaner and put a little dielectric grease on the pins and put it back together snuggly. Very common problem.

I would let the dealer handle it. I would hope the limp mode common pin problem of previous model years would have been remedied in 2015. Maybe this is something new and easy. Good luck.

Yep. Sounds like the infamous "Limp Mode". Usually the connector mentioned above.
