Default New windshield decisions

Have a new 2015 Street Glide Special. First order of business is getting a new windshield that will help the buffeting problem. I want something as short as possible and figure anything will be better than the stock shield. Looking at the Klock Werks Flare 6.5". I'm 6' with a 32 inch inseam. Do I need to go taller? Always such great advice out there!

Default LRS Shields

I recommend you call LRS, a forum sponsor, and tell them what you are looking to achieve, and they will fix you up. Nice discount too. I bought an Elite Recurve, outstanding.

I have an 8" LRS Ultra Elite Dark, works awesome. 5'10"ish, but long torso, sit like a guy north of 6'

I got the dark tint, and it doesn't look bad either. Worked well on the SGS when we had it, and love it on my TK

I don't have a street glide but I went with Freedon Shields on mine. Very good people and made in the USA. Might be worth s shot. http://freedomshields.net/index.php

I bought the 8.5 Klockworks Flair for my 09 Ultra. It is the best accessory that I have bought for my bike. I just finished a 6,000 mile trip with it and the bike felt like it was on rails. the control that I had at highway speed was great, and that is in all types of wind condition. The front end had absolutely no wobble what-so-ever. The felt firmly planted to the road and the control was very noticeable. I am 6'2 and had no buffeting at all. I highly recommend this windshield. You will not be disappointed. No I don't work for this company but this truly is a great product. Good Luck!!

I use a 9 inch Cee Devil from Cee Bailey. Does a good job of calming the air.

8 or 9 inch LRS should work, a 10 inch you all so work if you are long in body.
