recurves do that "theoretical" 3 inch. 6 is 9, 5 is 8 stuff and they all pretty much do a good job at it.
One thing I havent seen mentioned here is which one's give what kind of downward force on the front end for controllability. It's something to consider and the manufacturers have the numbers.
Another vote for the LRS Ultra Elite. I had a KW 6.5 and sold it after two weeks. I also wouldn't recommend a dark shield if you ride much at night, light tint works out a lot better.
I have a 7" elite ultra shield from LRS on my '12 SG. I have a pretty short torso and it works well for me. I still get a touch of buffeting depending on the wind, on a still day almost nothing.
Good product at a good price and quick shipping to boot, I would order from LRS again.
