I bought a 6 1/2" windshield for my Ultra and had to take it off. I had so much turbulance I couldn't keep my glasses and my head from shaking. I could barely see where I was going. I like the look of the SG shorty but I thought it would be too short. I am 6'1". I am wondering now if the 4" shield would be better than the 6 1/2. Maybe the 6.5" shield had the wind hitting me in the wrong place. Does anybody my size have one of these and if so how does it work?
I took my stock SG windshield off due to buffeting. Replaced it with a 6.5" Clearview with the Recurve which is killer. Much quieter , can hear the tunes much better , keeps the look. The recurve really works great.
