have '09 Fatboy Now & Happy with it , but ready for a Touring Bike , cant keep both , giving Road Glide high consideration i have rode a Road King & Ultra Limited ( Friends Bikes ) liked both i heard great things about R.G. , still have yet to ride to decide for myself how many have made this choice ---
Best advice I ever received: Take them out for a test ride.
I was in the same boat. RG or batwing. I happen to like the handling of the RG over the closeness of the batwing fairing. But most of these things are subjective. Take em for a spin. Only way you'll know.
I own or have spent time on all three - all great bikes but it'll come down to which one you think you look smarter seated on.
RK: Most versatile of the three...pop the windshield off in 5 seconds.
Ultra: Best touring bike...and I've seen some with removed tour packs and solo seats and they look sweet!
RG: Excellent touring bike...and in some eyes the best looking of the bunch (all the haters call them 'Fugly').
I knew as soon as I rode the RG it was for me, I also knew as soon as I rode the SG it wasn't for me. I loved my RK but have zero regrets trading up to the RG. Go ride them and see what you like the best
