Default Progressives 944: Which spring for me?

About to purchase the progressive 944 shocks for my 14 Street Glide.
Which springs, standard or heavy duty?

I weigh 235 and my wife weighs 160

I ride solo 90% of the time with very little stored in saddle bags.

When we do ride 2 up, it is on 3+ hour rides and we fill up the saddle bags. No tour pack.

on a side note, where is the cheapest place to buy them?

What is it you find appealing about the 944's?

Price point I can afford.

I saw your review and I realize you don't like em.

I had 940's on a SG and they are not much different than 944. I'm 210, wife is 180. We fill saddlebags, tourpack and pull a trailer. Had HD springs and hated them. Too stiff even on the lowest setting. Progressive switched them to the standard springs for me for free. After that they were the best ride I've had to date.

Yeah....not a fan. Standard spring, HD spring had them set up both ways. Check the classifieds. A better option are the HD hand adjustables. Usually can get them for around $300.

I haven't tried the adjustable HD/SE shocks which a wrench (for the local PoPo) I know recommends but, at just a little bit lighter than the two of you we run the 944 in std spring. This has been a great improvement, good luck though
