Check out the Revzilla web site http://www.revzilla.com/modular-motorcycle-helmets.
They have some pretty good reviews that cover a lot of information. I've had the Shoei Multitec for quite a few years and plan on replacing it next spring with their latest.
The harley (hjc or agv)modular helmets are pretty nice. The Bell Revolver modular is nice too. Modular helmets have a bit more wind noise but very functional. Rev Zilla is a great place for helmets, look on YouTube, they have a video for almost every helmet out there.
I just bought the HJC Sy-Max III, and really like it a lot. I've only put a couple hundred miles with it on since I got it a couple weeks ago. But it seems pretty quiet and the first thing I noticed was less buffeting/movement of my head. It has a little air dam near the back that I think helps quite a bit. Also seems to have pretty good airflow inside the helmet, cause I live in Phoenix and rode with the temps around 90 and my head really wasn't sweaty when I took the helmet off.
The Sy-Max III, is the same exact helmet as Harley's "Passage" Modular Helmet. Except it is about $100 less. I guess the HD stickers are pretty expensive now days!!!
