I have the V&H 4.5" HO slip-ons and they are a little too quiet for my liking. Today I removed the wrap/sock and now it's WAY too loud.
I've been doing some research and ran across a little insert that goes in the baffle and it is supposed to also work for bikes with no baffle. I just don't know how this little insert works.
My question is, will it quiet the pipes down a bit? If not, has anyone used a fiberglass mat in place of the stock wrap?
I use the BCT monster baffles. They go in the head pipe and replace your muffler baffles and sound great! not sure if it's quieter but it sounds more hot rod.....they do make a quiet baffle that will tame it down more
