Shouldn't need an equalizers for
Just the front you can search and find the process to reset the tssm

exactly.. the CANBUS on the head unit is strictly for use with the upgraded Boom Audio amps to communicate back and forth with the head unit. Nothing else on your bike is CANBUS

I'm pretty sure you need the load equalizer for this model bike.

When you replace the back signals, you shouldn't have a problem if you have the equalizer. I will say this though...IF you have replaced the rear signal bar and you plug the lights in and they do not work, some companies have neglected to have the correct polarity. When (and if) you get one of these bars, you may have to reverse the wiring in the bar OR go red to black on each light to "correct" the polarity issue. LEDs require the correct polarity set up whereas the incandescent bulbs will work either way.

good that you got it figured out. I was gonna add that I just did my CD front turns without any complications. I do need a load equalizer though. Was waiting till after install to be sure I needed to order one. Anyways you got it done
