Its most important to be seen for safety, than be fashionable. Loose the deflectors & lowers if you have too. Go to Cabelas or LLBean and for under $50 get flannel or fleece denim pants and ride at 40 all day long. Just my view...................
They are absolutely Trucklites. The HD Daymaker Reflector does not have that darkened or tinted appearance. The Reflector also has a small HD bar and shield logo in the center of the divider which is chrome not black. Here's a pic of the HD Daymaker Reflector.
i think it looks great. I have soft lowers on my yamaha, nice to have for sure. i have the fork lowers on my harley but i also invested in an electric jacket liner that lets me ride into the fall and winter months. i have a pair of electric chap liners on the way to also take the edge off on those crisp 0300hrs morning rides to work.
comes a point when you can add too much. ive about got to that point. ive been debating on taking the driving lights off. but i have added the soft lowers, batwing deflectors, and fork deflectors. i had to mod the fork deflectors to fit with the driving lights. hurts my feelings to see it with all the extra dragging her down. but now i can ride to work when its 40F. whatever keeps it to where i can keep riding
The best part is as soon as it warms up you can remove and store the ugly parts for next winter. Once it gets cold here my tour pack, heated seat, 9" windshield and fairing wind deflectors go on. I stay a little warmer and just smile because I can still ride all winter!
