Like the OP, I used the 83595-11 TriGlide pulley, and changed the belt to a Goodyear 39T belt to alleviate having to mess with the OEM rear axle adjustments on the '10 Ultra. I did not experience any effects with either the 6th gear indicator or speedometer calibration. I will say I was nervously expecting issues with one or both. Good luck.
No possible way that you changed to a 30tooth pulley and your speedo didn't need calibrating. I did the same to my 2010 Limited and it was off by as much as 7mph at higher speeds.

My mistake, I was thinking 'cruise control' and typed speedo cal...I was seconding qtracer's previous post.
You are correct--I did have to make adjustments in the PV to account for the gearing change effects to the speedo.
The Dakota Digital SIM-1 ties into the TSS wires, therefore it changes signal to the speedo and doesn't fool the ECM. Making changes above 4% will eliminate cruise and 6th gear light on '09 and up bikes. I know this from experience. You can fully calibrate the speedo, the gearing light is no big deal, but can you do without cruise. Flash tuner is the best option.
There is no 6th gear switch. The light is triggered by the ECM when transmission output rpm (speed signal) and engine rpm are at a preset ratio. If the ratio is wrong, different gear or clutch pulled in, there is no 6th gear light. If that ratio is upset by an add on speedo callibrator you lose the 6th gear light. If the key ratio is changed with an ECM programmer you will keep the 6th gear light and cruise and correct the speedo.
Cruise control is simply a governor. It is designed so you select a certain pulse rate (based on speed) and it tries to maintain that pulse rate by adjusting throttle position. Why that function is rendered inoperative by an add on speedo corrector is beyond my understanding, but it is a fact of life. My cruise works above 30 mph regardless of what gear I am using so I don't understand why it won't work with a corrector as it works at engine rpm different than what it sees in 6th gear. Perhaps there is a key ratio stored for each gear and a variation from that ratio indicates a failing speed sensor and the disabling of the cruise prevents a runaway (uncommanded acceleration).
