Default Cam install

Hey guys, I'm gonna be wrapping up my cam install and want to know prior to starting the bike do I need to change the oil first or can I go ahead and start it.. I lost a lil oil taking off the cam cover but not enuff to say grace over.. Thanks in advance!!!! Holla

No problem. Start it up,listen, and then check oil level and add if necessary.

I just did my cams last weekend as well. What did you go with?

I always change the oil when I do cams. How many miles are on the oil? Pump the oil to the top end before you start it. (pull the spark plugs and crank the engine over until the oil light goes out)

I don't change the oil until I after I have ran the engine. I use assembly lube when installing and want it flushed out.
