Now that the weather is starting to change and some have begin to slow down on riding and or have stopped altogether depending on where you live. What are your plans for your ride over the winter? I'm always interested to what folks are doing plus it gives others ideals.
As for me I'm redoing my SG for the second time. Going with a 26" build. I have all the parts in hand and also painting and changing out a few things like speakers, gauges, seat customized etc.
Just finished My first winter project. Added handle bar controls with chrome housing and switch cover. I can now control my aftermarket stereo without taking my hands of the controls.
Going to have a Russell Day Long seat custom made for my bike, covered with real quality leather and adding heat. If the $$$ works out, I would love to upgrade my stock suspension with Harley's standard height premium components along with chrome lowers. If I'm really lucky I would also love to add the quick disconnect kit for my baggers tour pack. New Harley's really are starter kits.
Chrome lower fork legs, new wheels and tires thinking shock replacement and front end cartridges? and a Hayden primary chain tensioner to name a few. Did the extended bags and CVO rear fender last winter.
