That is definitely cloudy and a problem. If anyone is having this issue on a very recent purchase, let me know. I am convinced we received a bad batch of material.
It is true, the modified acrylic is not as crystal clear as the polycarbonate, it should not be that cloudy.

Got the replacement shield. Just installed it. MUCH BETTER! Thank you long ride shields. As you mentioned, its not absolutely crystal clear as a poly piece might be, but much better than the first shield. I called fedex and they are coming Tuesday to pick up the old shield to send back. Thanks for everything. I am pleased as punch with the shields "no tear" performance. If you guys ever decide to make an extra wide version of this shield, I will be your first buyer.
