Default Another extended Bag question.

I am in the process of looking at extended bags. The decision of what to go for is overwhelming to say the least. In any case If I go with 4 1/2" will they look right with my stock rear fender or is that something I have to do at the same time?

Could have swore I saw a few bikes with extenders and nothing else at Thunderbeach recently. I'll have to go back through and look at some pics.

It depends on a few factors, some companies design their bags you follow the contour of their extended fenders, others go well with putty much anything

I've seen several sets of extended bags that mate up pretty decently. With that said I think it would be very important to decide if a rear fender kit is a possibility in your future. If so I would be more inclined to buy bags that will fit your future fender rather than the stock you have now. With that said if your staying with the stock fender it's pretty easy to find a pic of whatever bags your looking at mated to a stock fender, some look better than others.

As you have a Street Glide I would guess the CVO style bags would look OK but any deeper style would really need a fender replacement

I have CVO style bags on my RKC, which are 3 1/2" in the rear and I'm running the stock fender. Your call on what you think longer bags would look like with the stock fender.

That's a really nice RKC! If you put the 4 1/2 on your RKC would it hit the turn signals? I have no clue about stretched bags!!
