I found a chrome one on Ebay for less than I got selling the stock black nacelle. Just depends who wants what I guess. I sold the black one to a guy that planned on stretching it.

Several of the aftermarket outlets selling Harley parts sell chrome nacelles for around $350. Still expensive but an option.

After the wreck of the Road Glide, I settled with his insurance co. and then bought back the salvage for $2000. I converted into a Road King. A new set of forks complete ($535) an fender off Craigs List ($85) a set of Road King Saddlebags off EBay ($235) and a Windshield with Pouch Ebay ($130.)What surprised me was how much it cost for a genuine nacelle which I won on EBay for $365 (complete with headlight and switches.)

I've worked with the aftermarket nacelles (I converted a '90 FLHS into a Road King a long time ago,) and highly recommend that in this case you stick with OEM. The aftermarkets were too cheap IMO.
