I have the quick release on my tour pack and agree, the difference in handling is actually noticeable. I didn't think it would be.
My only problem is that I have 6 different wires to disconnect, and they don't all tuck under the seat, so it looks a little "mad max" when the tour pack is off. I'm trying to figure out a trick to hide all the wires and connections? Any ideas?

Night and day difference for me. As much as I liked the storage space with the tour pac on I like my bike much better with it off. I didn't even bother with the quick detach.
