I'm a new member of the forum but have had a Harley for 6 yrs, '04 black Road King Classic. I'm considering selling and buying a new Street Glide. My question is, I'm looking at Morroco gold pearl but I kind of feel like white is more of a color for a girls bike? Am I wrong on this? Hope I don't start a big fire storm with this.
Even it was pink and you like it who really cares??
My long time black is the only color riding buddy recently scored a 2005 Road King Custom with 17k on it for 7k.
He was not interested in the bike at all because it was white, it was not until after he looked at all the overpriced stuff he went back and bought this one.
It has grown on him and is a dang nice looking bike.
I repainted my white bike. I painted it the same white it was originally. Go with what you like and to hell with what anyone else thinks, unless they are paying for it. Good luck with your choice and welcome to the forums.
I tried to buy a white Ultra twice over the years, but both times it was a really hard color to buy in my area. Some dealers actually had up to $2,000 additional dealer mark-ups due to color only. Don't remember the specific color names, but the first one had a blue tint and the second one had a gold tint. I'd take either of them in a heartbeat over my Vivid Black.
