I have the biketronics BT2180 and 7.1s in the fairing and 6.5s in the lowers. Heard a friend's that sounded good. Got a screaming deal a year ago and liked the warranty. Pretty happy with it. Its a little bright. FYI, there are no gain adjustments on the amp. Know that going in. I will change out the head unit eventually.
I'm very happy with my Rockford Fosgate PBR 300x2 and Infinity Kappa 62.11I's. At a cost of about $300.00 total if you do some shopping they are hard to beat.

Thanks for all the responses. The Rockford Fosgate seems to be pretty popular and sounds like it is just what I need. I'm an audio neophyte but I think I can do the install. Just a couple questions for those of you that have this setup. How did you mount the amp and will the speakers fit the existing holes or will I need adapters. Thanks
I'm shocked that you couldn't find anything in the Audio section...A good search will show that most folks love anything from Biketronics. There are several reasons why:
1 - Top quality products;
2 - Lifetime warranty;
3 - Excellent customer service.
With my setup, I can push 90+ MPH and still here my music crystal clear with nearly no distortion. I promise, you wont' find this guarantee from the other manufactures here. As you've noticed, nearly everyone here has recommended Biketronics over any other set up.

There's a couple of options on mounting the amp, but the easiest is just heavy duty velcro on top of the head unit. Some make their own bracket. Hogtunes makes what they call a second amp bracket that mounts it vertically to the right (brake) side of the fairing. Here's a pic, the amp on the head unit is velcro'd on
I bought an amp bracket off of eBay specifically for the PBR and the harley batwing with mounting holes pre drilled and an exact fit. $25 bucks. Helps dissipate heat as well and made me feel better than velcro.
I think you can still get them on Ebay.
Take a look.
