Does anyone know if there is a difference in ABS lines and non-ABS lines? I am swapping the bars off my bike back to a stock set and will ultimately sell the bars I have. I bought a set of stock bars/line/etc and the ones I bought came off of an ABS bike. Just want to make sure there is not any difference before I put the ABS lines on my bike to trade it in.
The lines themselves are the same. ABS bikes have more lines as there is a line that goes from the master cylinder to the ABS box, and then a line from the abs box up to the front calipers. They all hold DOT 4 brake fluid on 2008 and newer touring bikes.

I will have to look at the lines and see if they lengths will work for my non ABS bike. I did not even pay attention to what was exactly there.
I would imagine off an ABS bike that the lines will be far too long for a non ABS bike if they are stock and all one piece as they are designed to go back to under the right side cover from the front.
If the length is ok for what your trying to accomplish, use it. There is no difference in the line itself. But unless your tying into a distribution block above the fender I doubt you'll make it work.
