I use the el cheapo Freeze out liners from CycleGear. They are only $10 and last for a few cold seasons (working on the third season now). They are pretty thin so they fit well under my normal riding gloves and block all of the wind as far as I can tell. I'm SOL on the Hayabusa if the cold goes beyond the wind but they have worked down to rides in 40F weather. On the ElectraGlide,I just turn up the heat on the grips. You can find them here: http://www.cyclegear.com/FREEZE-OUT-Inner-Glove-Liners
Cheers!

Kinda depends on your cold tolerance. I ride all year in NC and have heated grips on my RK. I bought an expensive winter riding gloves, but found a decent pair of ski gloves works just as good or even better. Now I wear a lined pair of leather gloves and use a warm glove liner if it gets colder.

Fox Creek makes decent gauntlets with lining for reasonable price. They work for me down to 40/45. I have apes on my RK as well.

The Harley leather gauntlet gloves have some lining and work for me down to 45 or more. Less than that you would need heated gloves. Stay away from the heated packets....I tried them snowmobiling...They are either too hot and makes your hands sweat or after your hands get wet then your cold again.

X2

my snowmobile gloves work good in the colder weather/ I figured if my hands stay warm in negative temps on the sled, they should be warm on the bike in the upper 30's and below.

I'll have to get out and check some of them out and stores and possibly find a pair to add to the christmas list.

Thanks for all the feedback.

$79.99 for the heated glove liners is your best bet!

Back in '07 when I purchased my Sportster I also picked up a pair of gauntlets from Harley similar to the ones in the link below. I wore them once and awhile when the temps dropped down into the teens but actually found them to be too warm generally and have probably worn them less than 100 times in all of my riding since then. I have "medium" and "light" gloves that I typically prefer to wear.

Check out Cabela's Elk skin gloves, they come in insulated and non. They wear like iron and don't break the bank.
