What do you guys think about a 2007 Ultra with only 449 miles? It can't be good for a bike to only run 64 miles a year. Would you try to talk him waaaayy down and go from there? I'm sure it is a nice bike, but 7 years old and has not even had a 1K service seems fishy.
I think I have a better than average knowledge of motorcycles and were I have bought plenty of them on my own I'd feel a lot better if I had a third party look it over...A bike like that would bring some very unique and specific issues that would need to be addressed..I personally would rather find a bike that was ridden a little...just my opinion..I think seals, rubber, fuel, everything is affected by sitting and not moving...
Probably nothing wrong with it and I would not be afraid, just not at 15,500. It would have to be a lot less than that. I just bought a 2013 Limited with 2,116 miles for 18,500 and 1 year of warranty left.
On Cycle Trader there is a 2012 Limited in Ohio for 17,950 with only 764 miles. Being from Ill. that would not be a big trip for you. If you want the info, let me know. I did talk to the people and had considered it before I got the 2013 a lot closer to home.
NADA lists a 2007 at 12,000 plus change, and I would offer about 10,000.

wow, based on my old ultra classic options i did a quick estimate...i didn't expect the used book price to be so high. even so, his price is higher, I'd throw a low retail number at him http://www.nadaguides.com/Motorcycle...-1584cc/Values
