Change the lifters, you will be glad you did. Gatermans here, along with a Baisley bypass spring to bring up the oil pressure, while you are in there. Runs quiet and great.
My 2012 RK has 12000 miles on it and I am fixing to put 57H cams in her. I would settle for a set of se204 but cannot find a used set. Should I change out the lifters or keep the stock ones. Also I read where comp cams 850 lifters will work in the twin cam motors just fine?
Definitely change them. I went with the Comp Cams 850 lifters personally. If they are good enough for built small block Chevy's I think they will be fine for the Harley. They are around $80 either from Jegs or Summit Racing.
Thanks for the info fellas! I just ordered some Comp Cams 850 lifters for my TC88 cam swap and tensioner upgrade. I found them on sale for $12.49 each.

I did too, $11.50 a piece. I changed back to solid pushrods as the Andrews 26 Cams have the same base lobe as stock (less nuts to break or come loose.) While I was in there I swapped the Black Ops lifters ($180/set,) for the Comp 850's ($44 a set,) and haven't noticed a difference at any rpm.

I believe it was 2011 that Harley stopped using the American made 18538-99b lifters and started using the Mexican made "C" lifters. The quality went way down and that's when issues started showing up after people started modifying their engines and keeping the stock lifters.
I would defiantly change them out, I've used woods and S&S and both are great quality lifters.
