Default 2014 gps

Trying to figure out how to turn off the GPS on my 2104 Street Glide. I put in my home address to start yesterday. As I was going to work today it kept rerouting me back home. I figured after I go home it would stop. I just want to turn it off.

Yes, I have read the owners manual, and quick start manual also, no mention how to turn it off.??

It's got to be a simple thing I'm missing, a little help.

On the lower right side of the map screen you will see a menu button (has three dots and three lines following the dots) Push that button on the screen. At the top of the menu list you will see STOP. Hit that and it will stop navigation.

I got zapped by the same thing Lobo. Frustrating as hell when the bike keeps telling you to make the next legal U-turn. But just as Jstren says, click on the little square on the right side in the map and select stop. All well go back to normal.
Cheers!

Jstreen,

Thanks for the reply, went out to try did not see what your talking about?

Do I hit the NAV button, then click on maps? All I saw was my current location.Did not see the three dots, standing by.

This is what happens when you outsource your Infotainment system to a 3rd rate OEM like Harmon Kardon.

The 49.95 Garmin app on my iPhone runs circles around the Harley system on my new SGS........just sayin'

Yes you have to click the nav button then click on maps to get to the map screen. Then on the right hand side of the screen you will see the menu icon (the 3 lines & dots) It's see through, so it doesn't really jump out at you. Push that icon button and you will see the option STOP.

I originally said the icon is in the lower right hand side, but I just went out to the garage to look and it's about in the middle of the screen on the right hand side.

If that icon is not on your map screen you must have issues and I would take it to the dealer.

Glad you got it figured out! Here is a link to the HD website that has the 2015 owners manual that you can download. It has a lot more info and better instructions for the infotainment system
