Did your bike have a constant tick, or did it tick at a certain RPM?

Couldn't you install adjustable pushrods to do the same thing? It would allow you to make adjustments as the valve seat wears or gets carbon build up.

Mine was between 2700-3000 rpms

I might have to try the Axtell bypass. The ticking is annoying. I have a Feuling oil pump and cam plate, so I think the Axtell bypass only works with the stock stuff. I'm pretty sure I saved it all.

The Axtell bypass worked great in my 110 CVO Ultra, I'm very happy with it.
