Hello all, Looking for ideas to relocate the horn, want to clean up that side of the engine. Thinking of putting it inside the fairing. Thoughts , ideas.
Thanks.
That's a good idea, possibly find a fork headlight mount like the one below
and modify to mount inside fairing? There is plenty of open space I would think.
I put a second horn under the left side cover - no reason you can't use that spot for the first one. Just had to break off the two clips that are there.

I put mine in fairing-per instructions for HD cooling fan.
There is a screw hole already there near the right speaker. There is also a horn wire there too. You have to look at wiring diagram to pick correct color

Ditto on the HD cooling fan install directions for mounting inside fairing. Cut the horn mount off the engine mounting bracket and you're good to go. You won't be reusing the mount, just cleaning up the area between the cylinders once horn is removed.
