Just finished my 95ci upgrade about a month ago on my 06 ultra. Not to impressed, Now the question is are my cams not working with these changes. First a little run down on what was done. Prior to this the bike was stock 88 with stage 1 upgrade se air cleaner, old style se ll slipons, true duels and PC lll, Then added the 07 style cam plate & oil pump with Andrews 21n cams. This worked great with added torque. Now to the present. Bored cylinders, SE flat top pistons port&polished stock heads new valves & springs, .030 head gasket, SE adjustable push rods used same 21n cams, 190psi ccp no other changes. After break in had it tuned 75hp & 90tq not to impressive. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Yeah, I'm certain its the cams. Even w/o the head work, my similar 95" puts out 85 HP with just Andrews 26's installed. Since you've got head work, I suspect that you need more cam than even that. There'll be guys with recent headwork chiming in to give you the latest and greatest options on that front.
My 01 Road King is in the process of a 95" but I went into this 2 years ago with Andrews 57 cams. My Indy promises me a great increase in performance increase but we shall see.
Yeah. It's the cam. That 21 runs great with stock compression to just a bit higher. What's your compression ratio now? It should be up around 10.5 judging by your head work and pistons. If that's the case you would see much greater increase with another cam. I had my jugs bored to 98" on my 06 ultra and had the Pistons matched and it sits at 9.6:1. Scott from Hillside cycle told me that's where my andrews 26 cams would really shine but if I bumped the compression any more I would need a beefier cam.

Not 100% sure but was told 9.8 to 10.1 compression. I was looking at the Andrews 48n cams but not sure on those with 95 a lot of guys using them in 96 & 103s. Tried calling Andrews today but had to leave message. Want to stay with something that will give good torque in 1800-2000 and up range.
I definitely understand that. Keep the power where you use it. You will get it all sorted out soon. I've heard great things about the 48 but can't speak from experience. The 57s are really popular with the 103s and might be good with your engine work.
