Default 2015 FLHR High Output 103?

We have a new pony in the stable. On the breather the decal it says 103 High Output. I have seen other 2015 bikes that the breather simply says 103 on the breather decal. Is there really a difference? If so what exactly is it? Cam,, compression,,, ???? Or just simply a different decal?

The "high output" is the cam. My understanding is that the cam on the '14 & '15 have a cam that is similar, if not equivalent, to a 255.

Yup, new air cleaner as well. They probably reworked the muffler too.

Not %100 sure, but think the Harley site has the spec's, think HO has little more compression also, believe it's 10-1

OK, now we have "cam" and "high flow air cleaner". Also "higher compression" on the wet heads (Limited's). Here's my observation for the 2015 Touring models 103 emblems on the air cleaner:

Road Kings, Street Glides, Road Glides, Tri-glides and Freewheelers have the black emblem with an exposed air cleaner bolt head and the number 103 with the words "high output".

Limited's, Limited Low, Ultra's, Ultra Low, Street Glide Specials, Road Glide Specials have a black or silver emblem that covers up the air cleaner bolt head and has the number 103 on it. They do not have the wording that states "high output" even though they are high output engines.

If you look at the 2015 brochure you see it clearly. Or check the H-D website Touring model photos
