air cleaner o-rings steetglide

Hi was wondering anyone happen to know what size the air cleaner o-rings are the part number 11292 but dealer doesnt have them in stock if i cant find them anywhere else i will order them but i thought i saw somewhere that they were metric #12 ?Thanks

Take one of the bolts or backplate with you to auto parts store and match o ring up.

Just take the orings to your nearest auto parts store or Ace Hardware. They should be able to match them up.

Respectfully, I would not rely on auto parts store. Our ac o rings are designed for more heat than any I found available from auto parts or hardware. I did thorough research, including talking manufacturers. Maybe an off spec o ring will work, but I would not do it.

go to a hydraulics parts place and get a viton o'ring they are made to withstand higher heat

You can go to any heavy equipment dealer. I.E Caterpillar, Volvo ect and they should have good quality O-rings. I know working at a cat dealer we had O-rings made for very specific applications like heat or certain chemicals.
