Why... They look ridiculous IMO. But hey it's your bike.

I had them on my old street glide. I personally liked the looks and got a lot of compliments but they were loud as hell and annoying on long trips. My right ear took a pounding. To each their own but I wouldn't get another set.

Might try the RK picture thread; I've seen them on several StreetGlides though...

I think they look great on the touring platform. To me, they kind of follow the curve of the top of the gas tank, and remove some of the "Fat" look of the rear of the touring bikes with factory exhausts.

They are VERY loud. I ended up putting two sets of Big City Thunder QQ baffles in them, and now, to me they are perfect, just about as loud as Rhinehart true dual systems, with a deep rumble, not crackly as the BR's straight up.

To each his own, so don't let opinionated people try to talk you out of it. I get compliments on them all the time. The picture below is older, I have since added a polished stainless rear brake disc, and a rear pulley chromed out by ***** Shiny as they are both visible with the BR's. I also had a rear axle and axle nuts epoxy-painted black, and added Covington Cycles chrome axle nut covers.

No problems of any nature whatsoever, and I wouldn't change them for any reason.

Kind of funny that the only guy who answered you and thinks they look ridiculous, doesn't post a photo of HIS bike.....

I have the BR's on my Street Glide as well.

I had 1 on my RKC. I liked the look. Its a tad loud on the right ear but the looks make up for it. I felt I lost a bit of torque with that pipe but I'd buy another 1. That look with some apes would be bad azz. IMO.

That RK will definitely be an attention getter if you set it up with those pipes and apes. How tall are you? I installed a set of 18" burly bars on my buddies bike and they fit him perfectly. Right at shoulder height. He is 6'6". Be sure to post pics once you make your decision and get it all set up.
