Default Cruise module years
OK another question.

I put a -98 module on my 04 being told it was correct. Just realized there is a -04 available. Guessing that's why it doesn't work?

I'm not in front of my PC, but i think the 98 part # takes a different speed sensor input than the 04 part #. I would double check, and if the #s do cross reference, start on the cruise diagnostics from the manual. I added cruise to my 01 EGC and my 06 SG, so i might be able to answer some questions. I will try to keep an eye on this thread.

I have a red cruise light when I turn on the cruise. Never turns to green during the check. Everything else seems fine. Have a 04 module on the way.
