Default Speed Bleeders

I'm going to purchase a new set of speed bleeders for my bike and was wondering what you folks are buying, the standard or the stainless steel?

Thanks

I have heard good things about these. I ordered the ss but have not received them yet. I also ordered extra caps and the bleed hose as they were cheap. Someone on this forum recommends the hose as it is more flexible than some of the stuff at the stores. They say the bag is a waste of time.

I went with standard. They work just fine.

Agree, the bag is a waste. I use a 2 liter soda bottle to use as a catch can. Plenty of hose I cut it in half for use on Dot 4 and Dot 5 bikes.

Thanks! Web site says standard steel so I thought they may rust or corrode.

I really like the stainless version. Looks almost like it's polished.

I really like my speed bleeders...I use the stainless ones, but have seen the standard ones and think either would probably work fine with most applications. I bought the hose and the bag kit when I bought the bleeders...I'm happy with them, as well.

Good luck!

Steve

Stainless....seemed like a no brainer for a few extra bucks.
