I have the lid organizer on my 89 and the one that goes along the sides of the tour pack on my 06. I prefer the one that goes along the sides best, but they are both very functional.

I have a magnetic tank pouch/bag from J&P cycles. It's really nice and sticks to my roadglide tank nicley. I use it to store all the things you need to get to while on the highway plus cell phone charger, I-pod, chapstick etc... When you go in for a beer, just lock it up in the saddlebag. They even make em witha clear pouch for GPS etc...
