When the new bikes were first introduced the leaks, recalls and infotainment systems were all the talk of the forum and overwhelmed this section. It is better now. Doubt the need for the separate section is still there.

I typically don't think of "Sensitive" and anything on "HDForums" in the same context

It seems to be the non Rushmore dudes whining...that can clarify the sensitivity.

Don't like it, don't read it.

It's just like all the other specialty topics...whether traveling, electronics, what have you. There are forums for those, yet the touring forum is choked with threads that are actually more appropriate for these other topics. Every now and them, a couple of them get moved to those other threads by the moderators, but not often enough to make much of a difference.

To me, the answer isn't about more and stricter moderation...it's about eliminating all of those specialty forums...make life on the forum simpler, no need to break all the discussions out into separate topics.

I see no reason to have two separate threads on whether or not we need to have a Rushmore section so I have merged them into one. In fact I see no reason to have a thread on this subject at all. We have a separate Rushmore section and that's not going to change. But it's winter and we get all sorts of strange threads. So go for it.

I wish we had an option to "opt out" of sections that don't interest us. I like to go to "New Posts" to see what's going on around the forum, but I don't care to sift through 25 "Game" threads.

How much extra did it cost each member for the extra "thread"?
(Personally, I'd call it a sub-forum)

Exactly. I wasted my time replying...

I can't vote but I like the rushmore section separate so I can find problems I know directly relate.to my bike not all bike. When I want to get my learn on I go to the touring spot and read about the older bike issues.
