I know I'm kind of overthinking this, but I'm new to motorcycles and want to ensure I don't mess anything up. I appreciate everyone answering my questions. I've already learned a lot. Thanks!
So I installed the Kuryakyn Bluegrass Breather Kit with their catch can to eliminate the breather tubes going into the intake. My only concern is the fact that the tubes attached to the banjo bolts are routed up. The way I understand this system is that as the Pistons travel up and down the pressure they create in the crankcase will escape (breathe) through the vents. With the tubes routed up, I'm thinking any oil that makes it into the vent will drain back down and any moisture in the crankcase will escape as steam once the oil gets hot enough.
I just want to make sure I'm not going to run into any issues with the path leaving the vents going in an upward direction.
I've gone on several 30 minute to an hour rides since installing this system and haven't experienced any problems that I can detect riding the bike. I've checked the catch can and there isn't any oil in it yet. Just some water that is slightly oily and smells like oil.
Please let me know your thoughts on this and then I promise I'll move onto a different topic to nag you guys about.

I applaud your efforts and desire to eliminate the oil draining into the intake (or worse). But because you're using a traditional "football" cover, you have several options.
I simply pulled the black tubes from the back of the air cleaner, plugged the holes left in the stock air cleaner, and then wrapped the bottom of the tubes in oil absorbent material letting them hang straight down behind the air cleaner.
No more oil feeding into the intake, no more oil dripping from the air cleaner, and the "system" is not visible unless the air cleaner cover is removed. Total cost for this mod...less then $1.
I've ridden with this mod for thousands of miles with no issues.
